Abstract
Quantum computing promises to transform the nation’s economy, security, and society by solving problems inaccessible to conventional supercomputers. Potential applications include catalyst design, optimizing fusion energy hardware, simulating and overcoming corrosion, and bio-marker discovery for predicting cancer treatment outcomes.
